Compact Cottages has built 100+ reasonably priced homes all around the Asheville area, and Atkinsville is our first larger scale community. This is one of Asheville’s first Missing Middle projects that targets affordable home ownership. Atkinsville is developed by the owners of Thirsty Monk, and a member of Asheville’s Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.
Atkinsville features a mix of small footprint single family and duplex style homes. Each home has a carport and features exposed beams in the living room, wood floors throughout, and a modern, clean style. Located close to “Downtown South Asheville” aka Biltmore Park, Atkinsville’s internal streets (Citra St. and Cascade St.) are appropriately for Asheville named after hops in beer.
DIRECTIONS: From I-26 take Long Shoals Rd. to right on Hendersonville Rd. Atkins St. is the secondstreet on the right. Atkinsville is the new construction community on the right.
